Baby Room - Little Explores

This is the most energetic room in the building.

The baby room helps to engage your child in their first learning experience. They will be developed through simple hands on tasks such as: play dough, sensory baskets, home corner, small world, mark-making and treasure baskets based around the needs of the children.

We update on tapestry daily to communicate with parents so they can have daily observations of what their child is doing. All the adventures their little one's are having. Adventures to soft play and local library encourage learning through play.

Toddlers - Little Oaks

The 2 year old room has a wide range of equipment provided for both indoor and outdoor play to encourage the development of a wide variety of skills. At this age their curiosity is at its highest, and we home in on this and start them on the journey of life to learning, by exploring with them and support their skills of independence.

A key worker will be allocated to your child to offer encouragement and support to your child and ensure that records of development are kept and the individual needs for both you and your child are catered.

Parents are provided with their own password to access their child information, observations reports and daily care record. You are encouraged to contribute to this process by commenting on tapestry and where possible add observations .Parents/carers feedback and home learning are key to children development.

Preschool - Bright Sparks

3/4-Year Old Preschool Class - Bright Sparks

This is the most vocal room in the setting, as well as teaching you will learn a lot from this class. A lot like the other  rooms, communication is the key in this room. Every year all of our children are well prepared for primary school. They have opportunity to learn through  play and develop their curios minds as well as educational activities that are  adult led to support in ensuring that they are school ready. This includes  sessions  focusing on our phonics and  mark making.

At the end of their academic year, the children will have a well deserved graduation, which is talk of the nursery for months prior and months after. In this room, we also use tapestry to keep a consistent partnership with our parents.
